Today, Governor Gary R. Herbert unveiled his budget recommendations for FY 2013. The Governor’s budget recommendations focus on his four policy cornerstones: Education, Jobs, Energy, and Self-determination. A recovering economy and fiscally prudent management will allow the State to fund critical priorities, including growth in public education.

SALT LAKE CITY and WASHINGTON, D.C.-  Utah Governor Gary Herbert and Utah's entire congressional delegation, including Utah Senators Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee, and Congressmen Rob Bishop, Jim Matheson and Jason Chaffetz, today expressed deep concerns with the Air Force's decision to eliminate jobs at Hill Air Force Base.

Jinshan Distrcict, Shanghai, China - Today, Governor Gary R. Herbert signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Jinshan District Mayor, Zhao Fuxi, in order to show mutual support for technology exchanges between Utah and Jinshan, China.
